“ I offer my patients unsurpassed dental care in a way that takes away or reduces any discomfort that comes from sitting in a dental chair.”
Meet Westview Dentist Garret Reed DDS
“Getting to know my patients and helping them to maintain or improve their oral health, while keeping them at ease, is a very satisfying part of my work,” says West Seattle dentist Garret Reed. “If I can offer my patients excellent dental services, while taking away or reducing any anxieties that sometimes come from sitting in a dental chair, then I’m doing my job,” says Dr. Reed.
Originally from a small town in Northern California, Dr. Garret Reed grew up in Davis, CA. While in California, Dr. Reed met with the dental group “Cambodia Smiles” from the Pacific Northwest. Together they went on a mission to Cambodia to offer dental care to an underserved community.
After several weeks abroad, Dr. Reed relocated to the Pacific Northwest. After moving to Seattle, Dr. Reed explored the area and soon West Seattle became a favorite locale. He practiced in the greater King County area for several years before finally opening his own practice in West Seattle.
Dr. Reed takes particular pride in providing his patients with a family friendly dental practice that offers high quality dentistry is a warm, caring atmosphere. He uses humor and his calm manner to put his patients at ease.
Besides offering his patients plenty of TLC, Dr. Reed enjoys educating patients on ways to prevent cavities and preserve their teeth as well as focusing on the least invasive dental treatment options. His specialties include cosmetic (porcelain veneers and teeth whitening) as well as restorative dentistry, implants and periodontal (gum) disease treatment, and sleep dentistry.
Always looking for ways to improve his patients’ dental care, Dr. Reed stays on top of the latest dental techniques and procedures via various dental study groups or pursuing his accreditation with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

“As I continue to see new and existing patients, I’ve been very fortunate to get to know my patients and earn their trust and confidence in me as a dental practitioner and as an educator for their oral health,” says Dr. Reed.
